A former Broadway assistant director, Nicole Pouchet Skuba is a Seattle-based writer and speaker. Nicole writes screenplays and paranormal romance novels under the pseudonym, Nicole Pouchet. As Nicole Skuba, she has served as a marketing consultant for national corporations and government contractors such as Identity Guard, Genetics & IVF Institute, and Leidos Inc.
Nicole’s social thriller short film RETCH is currently in production through her production company, Morning Lark Productions. She is a published novelist and a screenwriter for Zombie Orpheus Entertainment’s fantasy series, STROWLERS. Her screenplays have earned finalist placements in 2017 PAGE International Screenwriting Award and Tracking Board Launchpad’s Contest.
After working with nonprofits and technology start-ups to achieve goals such as donation rate doubling and start-up acquisition, Nicole started her own marketing agency in 2007. She exceeded marketing goals for high-tech clients, which led to the merging with another company to form the powerhouse digital marketing agency, BlueTreeDigital in 2013. Nicole led a staff of nine until she sold the marketing agency in 2016.
A graduate of Duke University and guest lecturer at the University of Virginia, Nicole now focuses her working hours on writing and film production. She continues to lecture and serve as a public speaker in the Seattle area.
