Does ‘the social network’ send a false subliminal message that everyone else is perfect?

I have no idea what to write for my column this week, so I mosey over to the world’s biggest procrastinator destination: Facebook, my connection to the world from Ashburn. I read through the over-shared bits of trivia. My college friend’s ex-boyfriend is upset about our alma mater’s unexpected basketball loss. A fellow former high school cheerleader writes, “Banana.” And, one of the women from my old Loudoun Hospital New Mommies Support Group has posted photos of her adorable new baby.
