She sleeps… a poem

This is a poem that I wrote a few years ago in a bad time.  It was published in Poetry Harbor earlier this year.

She sleeps

She sleeps
In her dreams she knows
Something is wrong.
But the truth blessedly
Alludes her.

So, she sleeps
Praying to God to Allah
To the saint to make it
Go away. Please.

Awake, the neighbor's music
Soothes her hungover soul.
How she has not died
She doesn't understand.

He doesn't want me.
